Pennie Sue Gilmore, 60, of Ben Hill County, Georgia, died Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, January 18, 2014, at First Assembly of God in Fitzgerald with the Rev. Michael Paulk officiating. The pallbearers will be: Tony Hurt, Danny Hurt, Danny Hurt, Jr., Earl Hurt, Andy Hurt and Curtis Coggins. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7, Friday evening, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Miss Gilmore was born, December 19, 1953, to the late Erbie Lee Lethett Gilmore and Mary Christine Veal Gilmore. She lived in the community all of her life and was a member of First Assembly of God in Fitzgerald.
She is survived by two aunts: Sear E. Hurt and Patricia “Pat” Dunbar, both of Fitzgerald; cousins: Debbie Quintero of Rebecca, Danny Hurt and Tony Hurt of Fitzgerald. Also many other relatives survive.
