Methuen – Victoria Kochakian, 84, of Methuen, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Nevins Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Methuen.
Born in Madison, Maine on November 13, 1929, she was the daughter of Moushegh and Arshalous (Garoian) Kochakian. She graduated from Madison High School in 1948 and from the New England School of Art in Boston in 1950. She worked as a designer of bridesmaids' dresses for Priscilla of Boston. She was also a manager of the designer shop at Jordan Marsh and was also a fashion consultant. Victoria was a member of the Ararat Armenian Congregational Church in Salem, NH. In her free time, she loved the arts and traveling.
Victoria will be deeply missed by her 2 sisters, Miriam Kochakian of Methuen and Queenie (Kochakian) Madden of Braintree, MA; 2 nephews, Robert and Kenneth Madden of Braintree; and her niece, Eileen Baldwin of Plymouth.
