Obituary

Madeline M. “Maddie” (Bouchard) Adair of North Andover, formerly of Lawrence, Haverhill and Tewksbury and beloved wife of the late Leon W. Adair, passed away peacefully at the Prescott House Nursing Center in North Andover on Tuesday morning, January 14, 2014. Madeline was 94 years old.
Born in Berlin, New Hampshire, on March 7, 1919, she was the beloved daughter of the late William and Palmina (LaFlamme) Bouchard. She is pre-deceased by seven devoted brothers. Mrs. Adair loved working as a Nurses' Assistant and did so until she was 75 years old. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, gardening and playing the slots at Foxwoods. Most of above all, she enjoyed spending time and sharing stories with her family and friends.
She will be deeply missed by her loving children; Reginald Adair and his partner Flo Lopes, both of Springfield, Lester Adair and his partner Connie Lee, both of Maine, William and his wife Karen Adair of Methuen, Colleen and her husband Stuart Clark, Sr. of Lawrence, Maureen and her husband Albert D’Entremonte of Ohio and Gerard and his wife Kimberly Adair of Florida, brother-in-law; Kenton Adair of Colorado, 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
