Dorothy J. (Dowd) Feraci, 77, of Worcester died Monday, January 13th in the Christopher House. She leaves two sons, Joseph V. Feraci, Jr. and his wife, Paula of Worcester and Francis T. Feraci of Joliet, IL; a daughter, Jean M. Duval of Worcester; two brothers, Francis X. Dowd and his wife, Carol of Worcester and Ronald J. Dowd and his wife, Lucette of Webster; two sisters, Ruth M. Tebo and Patricia A. Miller both of Worcester; 2 grandchildren, Anthony J. Feraci of Lexington, SC and Christopher M. Feraci of Irmo, SC; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, William Dowd and a sister, Barbara Anderson.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Augustine T. and Aurore E. (Fontaine) Dowd and graduated from St. Stephen’s High School. Dorothy worked at Charles Restaurant and Eden Garden before retiring in 1996 from Holy Cross College where she worked for 11 years in housekeeping and the food service departments.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18th at 11:00 AM in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln Street. There are no calling hours.
