Obituary

Honfre Dantes 41, of Brockton died unexpectedly at home January 6, 2014. He was born in Haiti and settled in the states in 1989, first in Miami FL and then to Massachusetts 11 years ago and finally Brockton for the past 8 years. Honfre was a graduate of Central High School in Miami and Miami Dade Community College. He had been a manager for the U-Haul Company both here in Brockton and Miami.

Honfre was a social man who enjoyed the people he lived with at his Main Street home; and despite his disabilities could be seen making his way around Brockton and beyond. He enjoyed music and watching movies. He was a proud family man and enjoyed time with his children and siblings.

He is survived by his Mother Mary S. Cajuste of Brockton; his children Peter F. and Keisha Dantes of Brockton and Tequan Dantes of FL; his siblings Ruth Diegue of NJ, Guersie LaPointe of Randolph, Nancy, Michael, Evelyn and Evans Cajuste all of Miami; his uncle Roldophe Serezier of Randolph and aunt Jeanite DeSsources of Milton; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday January 17, from 6 - 9p.m. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Saturday at 8 am for a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 9 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery.
