M. Carol Tubridy, 82, of Worcester, died Sunday, January 12th in Autumn Village Nursing Center. Her husband of 47 years, Patrick Tubridy, died in 2002. She leaves three sons, John J. Tubridy and his wife Kathleen of Chelmsford, Michael F. Tubridy and his wife Lynda of Charlottesville, VA, and Kevin P. Tubridy and his wife Merrilee of Bedford, IN; a daughter, Patricia A. Walsh and her husband David of Holden; nine grandchildren, Callie, Molly, and Brian Walsh, and Sarah, Daniel, Colleen, Katherine, Patrick, and Margaret Tubridy. She was predeceased by her sister, Eleanor A. Bagin.
Mrs. Tubridy was born in Worcester, the daughter of John and Agnes (Sullivan) Bagin and graduated from St. Peter’s High School. She was a social worker for the City of Worcester Department of Public Welfare before retiring. Previously, she had been a senior clerk at Thom McAn/Melville Shoe Company. She was a member of St. George’s Church and its’ Women’s Guild.
The funeral is Thursday, January 16th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle Street. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday, January 15th from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
