Joshua R. "Josh" Williams, 31, of Florida died suddenly January 11, 2014 at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL.
He was born October 23, 1982 in Columbia, SC to Joseph T. and Kimberly (Miller) Williams and graduated from Highland High School.
He was a restaurant manager for 8 years.
He attended the Church of God.
He loved walking on the beach, fishing, sports and was an avid Colts fan. He loved to read and enjoyed writing. As a teenager, he worked during the Colts Training Camp with the equipment managers. He was a kind and loving person.
Survivors include his father, Joseph (wife, Julie) Williams; his maternal grandmother, Lee Miller of New Castle; paternal grandmother, Betty Sells (Significant other Carl Flack) Ft. Myers, FL; great grandmother, Dorothy Massengale of New Castle; brother, John T. Williams of Indianapolis; step-brother, Cory Schalburg and step-sister, Katelyn Schalburg both of Noblesville; aunts and uncles, Craig & Laura Miller of New Castle; Mike Sells of Rockwood, TN; Kathy Hughes of Livingston, TN; several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kimberly Williams in 1998; grandfathers, Roddy Miller and Lois Sells
Service will be 12 noon on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
