Laconia-----Rita A. Pelchat, 88, formerly of 20 Dell Avenue, Lakeport died at the Laconia Rehabilitation Center on Thursday, January 9, 2014.
Rita was born July 25, 1925 in Laconia, the daughter of Cyprien J. and Emilia A. (Lavatue) Pelchat. She was a lifelong resident of Laconia and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
Rita had been employed as a secretary at Scott & Williams for several years.
Survivors include a sister, Theresa Fitts , of Meredith and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, Rita was predeceased by two brothers, Gerard Pelchat and Robert Pelchat and a sister, Doris McCormack.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held in the spring at the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
