Mary Jo (Moreland) Tatro, 81, of Anderson died at Community Hospital January 10, 2014 after a brief illness.
She was born December 9, 1932 in Anderson to William and Eldora (Hanshew) Moreland.
She was a cook for Anderson Community Schools more than ten years.
She was a member of Elm Grove Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth Ann Marsh, daughter-in-law, Becky Hawkins; special friend, Carolyn Hensley; cousin, Phyllis Divens; sisters-in-law, Doris Nolton and Faye Armstrong; granddaughters, Marianne (Michael) Winterholder and Mindy (Michael) Barnett; great granddaughter, Maddie Winterholder and great grandson, Mason Winterholder.
The family would like to thank the staff at Community Hospital for the special treatment shown to Mrs. Tatro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herb Tatro and her son, Jeffrey Hawkins.
Cremation will take place.
