Robert E. Gosselin, Jr., 62, of Dartmouth, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014, surrounded by his loving family and close friends, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia A. (DeMello) Gosselin.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late Robert E. Gosselin, Sr. and Barbara (Gifford) Gosselin, he was a lifelong resident of Dartmouth. He was the Owner and Operator of Gosselin & Son Trucking, Inc. of Dartmouth. Bob enjoyed driving trucks, camping with his family, old Western movies and Country Music.
Survivors along with his wife include his son: Robert F. Gosselin and his wife Liz of Dartmouth; his 2 daughters: Melanie L. Gosselin and her fiancé Michael Audette of Dartmouth and Jessica A. Duarte and her husband David of Westport; 2 brothers: Steven W. Gosselin of Dartmouth and Lewis Gosselin of FL; 3 sisters: Sharon Bentley of Mattapoisett; Cheryl White of FL; and Sandra Gosselin of Dartmouth; 5 grandchildren: Katie, Brianna, Lane, Rylee and Madison; as well as several nieces and 1 nephew.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the Potter Funeral Home at 7:30 P.M.
Calling hours will be from 5-7:30 P.M. prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
