NATICK: Charlene M. Bry, age 64, a Natick resident and retired home health caretaker, died on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at MetroWest Medical Center, Natick. She was the loving mother of Rachel E. Bry of Amherst.
Born and raised in Waltham, she was a daughter of the late Alice L. (Burke) and Charles J. Bry, Jr. After graduating from Waltham High School in 1968, Charlene attended Boston Conservatory of Music and Dance.
Charlene was always interested in travel and had lived in different areas of the country during her life, including a long stay in Albuquerque. Her compassion with people and animals led her easily to her vocation as a home health aide and caregiver. Employed with Home Instead, she received an Outstanding Service Award from Medical Resources for dedicated homecare to clients. The award surprised no one but Charlene, for she grew to truly love those she worked with and would go far beyond expectations to make sure their needs were met. She settled in Natick in 2003, after many years in Framingham.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Rachel; two sisters, Gloria Bry of Milford, NH, and Susan Bry Winske of Marlborough; and four nephews, Michael and Matthew Winske and Jason and Peter Gollan.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, on Sunday, January 26th from day, 2 – 4p.m. Funeral Services will be private.
