Calvin Monroe DeLoach
Augusta, GA – Calvin M. DeLoach passed peacefully at his home on Friday, January 10, 2014. Calvin is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Thelma DeLoach.
Family members include son: Stuart C. DeLoach of Augusta; daughter: Debbie DeLoach Reed (Jim) of Hilton Head, SC; precious grandchildren: Callie Danielle DeLoach, Megan Candace DeLoach, and Kyle Stuart DeLoach, all of Cleveland, GA.
Calvin was born in Augusta, GA on November 21, 1924. He was City Champion in the 1940 Augusta Soap Box Derby. He served in WWII with the 469th Ordinance Evacuation Company in France and Germany. Calvin was a loving father, grandfather, and friend.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors.
