Obituary

FRAMINGHAM: Francois Philippe Pigeaud, age 48, of Framingham, died on Thursday, January 9, 2014, at UMass Medical Center in Worcester of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was the loving husband of Bridget M. O’Brien for fourteen and a half years.

Born in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, he was a son of Aad and the late Marjorie (Quinlan) Pigeaud. Raised primarily in the United States, Francois was a graduate of Brookfield High School in Connecticut. He continued his education at Cornell University, earning both Bachelor and Masters degrees in electrical engineering. He also earned an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Francois was a co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of Envisa, a company focused primarily on E-Commerce, E-Marketing, business intelligence, and business integration. A talented artist and musician, Francois was also a competitive cyclist and outdoorsman. Happily together for nearly 20 years, he and Bridget made their home in Framingham. They most enjoyed time spent teaching their children and sharing life experiences with them.

Francois is also survived by his three children, Declan, Scarlett, and Ronan; his sisters, Danielle Gunther and her husband Russell, and Martine Cuomo and her husband Stephen; three nephews, Max, Owen, and Gavin Cuomo; and many cousin, aunts, and uncles in the US, Canada, and the Netherlands.

Visiting hours will be in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, Natick, on Tuesday, January 14th from 4 – 7p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Francois’ memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
