Joseph P. Simon, 78, of Salem, NH died Friday, Jan. 10th at his home.
Joseph was born n Lawrence, MA and was a lifelong Salem resident. He served in the US Air Force. He retired from Raytheon in Andover where he worked in the plating shop. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem. Joseph owned thoroughbred racehorses and loved racing, sports and Foxwoods. He also enjoyed playing horseshoes.
Joe was the son of the late Peter and Sadie (Coury) Simon.
He is survived by his Sister: Doris and her husband Charles Cooper of Derry, NH

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, Jan. 14th at 10 Am at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
Calling hours will be Monday, Jan. 13th from 4-7 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
