Lawrence C Hoehne, 81, of LaGrange died January 10, 2014. He was a twin, his brother and him were born May 2, 1932, at home on the farm in Hostyn , son to Edwin C Hoehne and Lillie Hoehne. He married Shirley Mae Watson, January 3, 1958 in Houston, Texas. Retired from Sears, Roebuck and Co. and moved back to the farm were he was born and raised. Served his country as a corporal in the United States Army. He enjoyed gardening and working with cattle on the farm.
Lawrence is survived by his sister Junell Getschmann, brother-in-law Delvin Getschmann, son Lawrence C Hoehne Jr.(Larry) , daughter-in-law Norma Hoehne, daughter Sandra Kreig, step daughters Linda Brown, Ronda Garlits, granddaughters Sara Hoehne, Haylie Hoehne, Amanda Kreig, great granddaughters Courtney Breen, Kari Kreig great grandson Trenton Breen.
Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Shirley Hoehne, twin brother Clarence Hoehne, sister Virginia Klause, brother-in-law Wait Klause, grandson Randal Kreig, granddaughter Kerri Kreig.
There will be no funeral Lawrence would like to be remembered as he was and the family looks forward to seeing him again in The Resurrection (John 11:24, Acts 24:15, Daniel 12:2). Lawrence's body will be cremated and his ashes will be taken to the farm where he was born and raised.
