SPENCER: David A. Wright, 69, of Main Street died Friday, Jan. 10 in the Meadows of Leicester after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 52 years, Evelyn L. (Tardy) Wright, a son, David A. Wright, Jr. of Worcester, three daughters, Susan M. Bouvier and her husband Paul of Spencer, Carol L. Fahey and her husband Chuck of East Brookfield, Donna J. McSherry and her husband David of Boca Raton, FL, 10 grandchildren David, Andy, Michael, Jilian, Jason, Hilari, Patrick, Nicole, Clayton & Ryan and a great-granddaughter Adriana.
David was born in Worcester, son of Andrew L. and Erma M. (Peary) Wright. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked in the shipping & receiving dept. at New England Wire Products retiring in 2013. He was a very caring and spiritual person with a strong Christian faith. He taught meditation classes for many years. In recent years he has been developing his own meditation practice. His own mediation practice has developed over time and is now a totally Christian experience. He was a published author. He enjoyed golfing, playing pool and reading. The family would like to thank the staff at the Meadows of Leicester for their exceptional care and support during a difficult time and especially Dr. Dunn and Stella, N.P.
Funeral services and burial in Rural Cemetery, Worcester will be private. MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester is directing funeral arrangements.
