Paul W. Hughes, 52, of Franklin died suddenly January 7 in his home.
Born in Boston, February 9, 1961, the son of Rita (Gaffney) Hughes of Franklin and the late John D. Hughes, Mr. Hughes was a longtime Franklin resident.
Mr. Hughes had worked at the United States Postal Central Office in Boston for many years.
In addition to his mother, Paul is survived by his son Sean of Pembroke.
He is also survived by his siblings, Joseph G. Hughes, Pamela A. Hughes and John D. Hughes, Jr., all of Franklin.
He was the brother of the late Susan A. Hughes.
He is also survived by several cousins.
His funeral service will private with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
