Obituary

SPENCER: Timothy A. Leahy, III, 70, of Spencer died Friday, Dec. 27 in Autumn Village in Worcester after an illness.

He leaves a son Daniel Leahy of Denver, CO, a daughter Jane M. Giganti and her husband Raymond of Walker Valley, New York, a brother Paul Leahy of Spencer, a grandson Joseph A. Canzone of Walker Valley, New York.

Mr. Leahy was born in Worcester, son of Timothy A. Leahy, Jr. and Helen (Berthiaume) Dumaine. He graduated from David Prouty High School in 1961. He worked as a machinist for many years before retiring. After retiring he drove limousine for Knight’s Limousine Company. He enjoyed local and State politics and especially loved his dogs Kandi and Maghan. The family would like to thank Autumn Village Nursing home for their excellent care and compassion as well as Brookhaven Hospice for their support and comfort measures.

A Graveside service will be held in the spring at Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter, P.O.
