Ronald R. Russell
Augusta, GA – Mr. Ronald Richard Russell, 66, beloved husband of Kim Russell, entered into rest on Monday, January 6, 2014.
Mr. Russell honorably served his country in the U.S. Army and enjoyed his retirement days working and playing at the Gordon Lakes Golf Course. He was a big fan of hockey and served on the Booster Club for the Augusta Lynx and Riverhawks. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was 'Dad' to Jeannett and David Maskell and David and Amy Russell. He was 'Papa' to grandchildren Dominique Maskell, Danielle Maskell, Deanna Maskell, and Abigail Russell. He is survived by brothers: Roy Russell, Randy Russell and sister: Joyce Henry. He is preceded in death by his parents David and Eleanor Russell and brother: Bob Russell.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Harlem United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Park. Rev. John Barrett and Dr. Michael Shearon will officiate.
