Charlton
January 4, 2014 at UMass Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness, Ann B. Graham, 86, living at the Overlook Lifecare Community, Charlton.

Daughter of the Elsa Gabrielson and Peter Krull Baker, and sister of the late Mark Baker and the late Helen Clark, she was the wife of the late James D. Graham, she leaves a daughter, Heather, son James, granddaughter Leah, sister Elsa Johnson, and many nieces and nephews.

Born Annie Margaret Baker in Whitinsville, Mrs. Graham graduated from Auburn High School. She worked at Standard Foundry in Worcester and later at St. Thomas Church in Holden and Jewell Uniforms in Worcester before retiring to Brewster on Cape Cod.

She was married at All Saints Church in Worcester, where she was a lifelong member, serving on the Vestry in the 1970’s, when it was rare for women to do so. She served as a member of the Altar Guild, the Nenana Group and taught Sunday School for many years. She was a longtime supporter and patron of the All Saints Choir of Men and Boys, in which her husband sang for 48 years.

She was a member of Church of the Holy Spirit in Orleans, where she was a member of St. Martha’s Guild. Mrs. Graham volunteered at Cape Cod Hospital and enjoyed her quilting group and tours of the Cape Cod area.

Moving to the Overlook in 2008, Mrs. Graham was active in activities and field trips with her many new friends. She will be very much missed by all who knew her smiling face.

A Memorial Service for Ann will be Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11 Am in The James C. Nicholl Chapel at the Overlook Community, 88 Masonic Home Rd., in Charlton.
