Virginia H. (Jewett) Hodder, 83, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster.
She was affectionately known as “Ginny” or “Gram” to her family and friends. She leaves behind a daughter, Vicki Hodder of Daytona Beach, FLA., a brother, Charles Jewett and a sister, Carol Reilly both of Marlborough, a grand-daughter, Jillian B. Kokocinski and her husband John of Dudley, 2 great-grandchildren; Emma and Mason. Ginny was predeceased by a son, Gary Hodder who died in 1977.
She was born in Boston, the daughter of Charles and Harriet (Thompson) Jewett and lived in Hudson for many years. Ginny owned and operated her own hairdressing salon in Hudson retiring in 1979. She graduated from Hudson High School in 1948, was a fan of the New England Patriots, and enjoyed collecting Teddy Bears and watching T.V.
At Ginny’s request, there are no calling hours or services.
