Norma S. (Harkes) Jones, 73, of Pendleton, died January 7, 2014 at Rawlins House after an extended illness.
She was born January 15, 1940 in Monon, Indiana to Lloyd and Madonna (Greek) Harkes.
She was a member of Huntsville Good Shepherd Community Church in Pendleton.
She was a homemaker and liked to sew and cook. She was a member of T.O.P.S. She enjoyed bowling and her family. She was an Elvis enthusiast.
She is survived by her children, Scott Jones of Anderson, Steve (Sherry) Hoskins of Pendleton; Greg (Renee) Jones of Anderson and Bill Jones of Pendleton; two sisters, Jo (Melvin) Broshar of Anderson and Carol Frye of Madison, IN; six grandchildren, Saul Jones, Casey Jones, Shay Rothstein, Shawn Hoskins, Kelsey Jones and Haley Jones; a great granddaughter, Karenthia Ward; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 44 years, Hugh W. Jones.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at Huntsville Good Shepherd Community Church.
