Kathleen “Katie” Nicole Gillespie, 19, of Louisville passed away January 6, 2014.
She was employed as a Sales Clerk for J.C. Penny. She attended elementary school at St. Albert the Great, attended Assumption High School, graduated from Ballard High School in 2013 and was an outstanding soccer player for her schools. She attended the New Life Church.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Gillespie.
She is survived by her Father, Tim Gillespie (Robin); Mother, Missy Halfhill (Willie); Grandparents, Joe and Barb Gillespie, Lonnie and Gladys Cooper; Brother, Sean Gillespie; Sisters Caroline Halfhill and Dawn Halfhill and several Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.
Her Funeral Service will be held 11 am, Friday, at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation 4-8 pm, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Silver Creek Cemetery, Sellersburg, IN.
