Obituary

Goffstown– Alcide I. Dumont, 94 died January 7, 2014 at Bel-Air Nursing and Rehab Center follow a lengthy illness.
He was born in Manchester on February 21, 1919 the son of Joseph and Caroline (Marquis) Dumont.
Prior to his retirement he had worked for Moore Business Forms.
He served his country in the U. S. Army in World War II.
He was a longtime parishioner of Ste. Marie Church.
He was predeceased by his wife, Pauline T. (Vigneault) Dumont on March 20, 2010.
Family members include two sons, Norman Dumont and his wife Eleanor of New Boston, Dennis Dumont of Denver, CO., two grandchildren, Heidi Hassan of Dublin, CA., James Dumont of New Boston, nephew, Fred McKenna and his wife Robin of Manchester, and niece, Dorothy McLaughlin and her husband Rick of Spring Hill, FL., and several cousins.
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM in Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave.
Committal prayers and encryptment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Bel– Air Nursing and Rehab Center for the exceptional care they provided for Alcide.
