Leonard S. Patricio, age 88 of Fall River, passed away Jan. 7, 2014 at the Kindred Crawford Transitional Care Center. He was the beloved husband of Alfreda (Michaud) Patricio for 64 years and the son of the late John S. and Mary (Mello) Patricio. Prior to retiring, Len worked as a Nursing Assistant at the Brockton VA Hospital. He was a US Navy veteran of WW II, a Fourth Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus, Tiverton, Over the Hill Gang, Armed Guard of the US Navy, and a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: John “Jack” L. Patricio (wife Elizabeth) of Fall River and Natalie M. Cote (husband William J. Sr.) of Tiverton; a sister: Noemia Bravo of Fall River; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on FRIDAY at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph ‘s Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Newport Memorial Park, Middletown, RI.
