Erasmo Vaudo, of Somerville, died Friday at the Massachusetts General Hospital, after a brief illness. He was 62.
Mr. Vaudo was born and raised in Gaeta, Italy, the son of the late Cosmo and the late Antonetta (Colozzi) Vaudo. Erasmo came to the United States with his family 35 years ago and settled in Somerville. He worked as a brick layer in the construction industry and was a member of the Brick Layer’s Union, Local #3.
He was the devoted brother of Civita Vaudo, Anna Vaudo, Pietro Vaudo, Salvatore Vaudo all of Somerville, Giovanni Vaudo of Arlington and Mina Antetomasso of Somerville. He is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may visit Tuesday 4 - 9 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Agnes Church, Arlington, Wednesday at 10 AM.Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
