Sarah DiSalvo died peacefully in Winchester Hospital on Saturday, January 4. Born and raised in Boston's South End, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Mosesso) DiSalvo.
Sarah was the beloved companion for over 50 years of the late Louis Edwards and loving aunt of Deloras Sullivan of Altamonte Springs, FL, Richard DiSalvo and his wife AnnMarie of West Roxbury, the late Rosalie and Frank DiSalvo. She was the loving great aunt of Lori Gianatasio and her husband Phil of Woburn, Keith Griswold of Woodsville, NH, Michelle Griswold of Somerville, Sharon Calla of Winthrop, and sister of the late Frank and Dominic DiSalvo. She also leaves many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, January 9 at 9:30am followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 5 to 8pm. Services will conclude with burial at Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
