MacDonald – On January 5, 2014 at home after a brief illness, Elsie (Alicia) Madeline (deJesus), 82, of Londonderry, formerly of Charlestown, MA. Born in Virginia on July 9, 1931, daughter of Domingo and Ernestine (Von Kahle) deJesus. Predeceased by her husband of 35 years Donald J. MacDonald; Graduate of Charlestown High and in 2002 received an Associates Degree in Theology from Notre Dame College. Employed as an XRay technician at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, ATT as a telephone operator, Schrafft’s Candy employee and most recently in the Human Resources Department at Hadco Corporation, Derry NH from which she retired in 1998. Communicant St. Mark’s Church, Londonderry, NH where she was a Religious Education Instructor for many years, Eucharistic Minister and a facilitator in the Right of Christian Initiation of Adults program. Elsie enjoyed traveling, being with her many friends and her most precious activity, being with her family. She leaves behind her sons Eduardo J. (wife Kathy) of Brewster, MA; John W. (wife Kristy) of Manchester, NH and Donald J. (wife Lynne) of Londonderry, NH; beloved grandmother of Jason of East Bridgewater, MA, Christopher of South Boston, MA, Kelsey of Brighton, MA and Marissa and Cameron, both of Londonderry, NH; beloved sister of Mary Gonzales of CA; Ernestine Nocon of RI and Ricardo deJesus of Andover, MA; predeceased by her brother Domingo deJesus and sister Virginia Wachoski; also many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
