Patrick Vincent Tornifoglio, 78 of Goshen, New Hampshire formerly of Medway, died January 3 at his home. He was the husband of 52 years of Anne M. (Haley) Tornifoglio.
Born in Marlboro, Mass, July 31, 1935, the son of the late Vincent and Madeline (Rogers) Tornifoglio, Mr.Tornifoglio had lived in Goshen since 2002 after living in Medway for 37 years.
He was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Waltham, class of 1952 and Hudson High School, class of 1953. He earned an Associates Degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University in 1964. He served in the Army from 1958-1960 and was recalled for the Berlin Crisis from 1961-1962.He then graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, class of 1976 with a B.S. in Engineering.
Mr.Tornifoglio worked as a civil engineer with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the army Corps of Engineers.
He was member of St. Patrick’s Church in Newport, New Hampshire.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Julie A. Forziati and her husband William of Bellingham, Craig P.Tornifoglio and his wife Karen of Medway, Keith M. Tornifoglio of Holliston, Elena M. Westberg and her husband Mark of Hudson and Carla M. Breen and her husband Matthew of Norton.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Shane & Brooke Tornifoglio, Stephen & Matthew Forziati, Olivia, Caroline & Andrew Tornifoglio and Haley Anne & Nolan Westberg.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His sense of humor, kindness, and loving ways will be surely missed by many.
His funeral will be held on Thursday January 9 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
