Frank A. Robinson, Jr., 82, passed away on January 4, 2014 in his home and surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Marcacci) Robinson with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.
He was born in Beverly on November 16, 1931, the son of the late Frank and Gladys (Proctor) Robinson. Frank was raised and educated in Beverly and graduated from Beverly High School. He continued his education at Bentley College and received his Master’s degree from Northeastern University. Frank was employed as the Director of Tax Administration for the Gillette Company. He retired in 1988 after 34 years of service.
Besides his wife Carol, he is survived by three children, Gary Robinson and his wife Jane of Methuen, Amy Atherton and her husband Steven of Middleton and Beth Robinson of Haverhill, five grandchildren, Courtney, Brian, Zachary, Rebecca and Nathan and three great grandchildren, Taylor, Riley and Nolan and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Shirley Alexander.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30AM on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in St. Agnes Church, Middleton. Burial is private. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA, 01923.
