Mrs. Elaine Knight, age 65 of Ocilla, GA passed away on Friday P.M. at her residence following an extended illness. She was born on August 15, 1948, in Ocilla, GA to the late Robert Vernice and Edna Rowena Wall Harper.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Knight of Ocilla, GA, her daughter, Dr. Alana Kent of Ellija, GA and her son, Jimmy Lee Knight, Jr.; two grandsons, and one sister: Bobby Rogers of Ocilla, GA.
The family of Mrs. Knight will receive family and friends on Sunday, January 5, 2014 from 5 to 8 P. M. at Sims Funeral Home, Douglas, GA.
Funeral services for Mrs. Knight will be held on Monday at 2:00 P. M. at Pinetta Baptist Church in Irwin County,with interment to follow in the Spring Hill Church Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
