WORCESTER-Gerald W. Moreau, 74, of 92 Idalla Road died Saturday, October 9th in St. Vincent Hospital after a long illness. His wife of 42 years, Lillian M. (Palmari) Moreau died in 2002. He leaves 2 daughters, Dorothy L. Moreau of Leicester and Mary A. Laliberte of Webster, a son, John M. Moreau of Worcester, a brother, Paul Moreau of Holden, an uncle, Sy Juska of North Carolina, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, several nephews and nieces.
He was born in Worcester the son of Jerry and Mildred (Juska) Moreau. Mr. Moreau was a machinist at Kennedy Die Casting, Inc. for 38 years, retiring in 1988. He was a former member of St. Peter’s Church, enjoyed woodworking and was a loving grandfather.
The funeral is Wednesday, October 13th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, October 12th from 6:00 until 9:00 PM in the funeral home.
