Theresa M. (Rojee) Lewis, 84, of Medway, died suddenly January 2 in the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham. She was the wife of the late William K. Lewis, Sr. who died in 1997.
Born in Medway, September 14, 1929, the daughter of the late Hickel and Nellie (Caram) Rojee, Mrs. Lewis was raised and lived in Medway until she retired and moved to Brewster where she lived for 20 years before returning to Medway.
A homemaker, Theresa loved to travel and had seen much of the world.
She found the greatest joy in having and being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, William K. Lewis, Jr. and his wife Maureen of Concord, Barbara Starr and her husband Keith of Spring, Texas, Mary Jane Cenedella and her husband John of Medway, Carol Cassidy and her husband David of Medway and Michael Lewis and his wife Lesley of Cocoa, Florida.
She was the mother of the late Theresa C. Lewis.
She was the sister of the late, Joseph, Naïf, Elias Fred, Madeline, Ceila Rojee, Julia O’Leary, Rose Cunningham and Sadie Curley.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica, Kevin, Caitlyn, Jacob, Jesse, Joseph, Grace, David, Lewis, Jules, Karolyn and Jonny.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday January 7 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
