Danny Lewis, age 60, of Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Lewis was born on March 17, 1953, in Douglas, GA to Charles Edward Lewis and the late Selis English Lewis.
Survivors include: his wife, Joanne Lewis of Douglas, GA, four sons, Henry Lewis of Douglas, GA, Chase (Kristin) Lewis of Panama City, FL, Ashton Lewis of Panama City, FL, and Lane Morgan of Douglas, GA, daughter, Erin Morgan of Douglas, GA, two brothers, Ronnie (Janice) Lewis and Chris (Margarett) Lewis both of Douglas, GA, father, Charles Lewis of Douglas, GA, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Selis Lewis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 4-7 pm.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Shep Johnson and Joe Day officiating. Interment will follow at Douglas City Cemetery.
