SPENCER: Aldore L. Huard 61 of 18 Temple Street, died Tuesday, Dec. 31 at his home after a long battle with cancer.
He leaves his wife of 18 years, Karen A. (King) Huard, his son Jeff M. Huard and his wife Melissa of No.Brookfield, two daughters Renee M. Langlois and her husband Wayne of No.Grosvenordale, Ct., and Michelle M. Doray and her husband Dennis of E.Brookfield, a step daughter Shannon Berthiaume of Spencer and a step son David Gilbert of Spencer, his brothers Robert and Albert Huard of Spencer and a sister Lorraine St. Martin and her husband Gerard of Spencer, 13 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Aldore was a longtime local landscaper and most recently worked for Monette Landscaping & Construction Co. in Spencer before retiring due to illness in 2010. He loved camping and snow skiing.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Edgar N. and Annie V. (Demers) Huard and attended Spencer Schools. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, Jan. 6 at 11a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Monday will precede the service.
