WEBSTER – Alina (Cetnarska) Lach, 76, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014 in Harrington Healthcare at Hubbard after an illness. Her husband of 47 years, Stanislaw Lach, died in 2005.
She leaves a son, Andrzej A. Lach of Webster; 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Carolyn and Ella Lach; a sister, Marianna Nowak of Webster; nieces and nephews. A sister, Lidia Marczyk, predeceased her.
She was born and raised in Poland, the daughter of Wincenty and Eufemia (Pabian) Cetnarski. She was a high school graduate. She moved to this area in 1984.
Mrs. Lach was a nurse in Poland for 25 years. After moving here, she was a winder at Anglo Fabrics Company for 15 years before retiring in 1999.
She was a member of Saint Andrew Bobola Church in Dudley. She enjoyed her annual vegetable and flower garden.
The funeral will be held Saturday, January 4, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 11:15 AM in Saint Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main Street, Dudley. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, January 3, in the funeral home.
