Obituary

Thomas A. White, 89, of Worcester passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30th in the Golden Living Center at the Hermitage with his daughter, Mary and granddaughter, Jessica Evans by his side. His wife of 64 years Elizabeth M. (Bullens) White died in 1995. He leaves two sons, Frederick A. White of Las Vegas, NV and Charles T. White of Worcester; a daughter, Mary E. Keogh and her husband, Robert of Oxford; 9 grandchildren, Tommy, Amie, Jessica, Jimbo, Christina, April, Julie, Paul and Patty; 13 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. He will join in Eternal life with his wife, Elizabeth; his daughters, Patricia Evans and Linda White and a granddaughter, Angela White.
He was born in Boston the son of Allen and Mary (McNeil) White and moved to Worcester after serving in the United States Army during World War II. Thomas has several jobs throughout the city and retired from the maintenance department at Holy Cross College. He was a member of St. Peter’s Church.
Thomas spent countless hours with his devoted daughter, Mary while she cared for him throughout his illness.
A calling hour will be held on Monday, January 6th from 10:00 until 10:30 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service to follow at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Veteran’s, Inc., 69 Grove Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
