Priscilla W. Trudell, 66

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Priscilla W. (Skrabut) Trudell, age 66, of Mansfield passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 30, 2013 at home. She was the beloved wife of William P. Trudell to whom she was wed for 44 years.
Born in Chelsea, MA on June 29, 1947, she was a dear daughter of the late Priscilla W. Wisowaty and the late Anthony J. Skrabut.
Priscilla grew up in Chelsea and the Brighton section of Boston. She was educated in St. Columbkille parochial schools and was a graduate St. Columbkille High School. She continued her education and was a graduate of the Mansfield Beauty Academy.
Mrs. Trudell was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family and had also been the owner and operator of the Perfect Touch Salon in Mansfield.
Priscilla was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield where she also served as a former CCD teacher. She was also a founding member of the Mansfield Youth Soccer Program and played in the Foxboro Women’s Soccer League, a group for women over the age of 30 years old.
Mrs. Trudell’s favorite times spent were those in the presence of her loving family, especially with her grandchildren. Throughout her life Priscilla had a special place in her heart for the elderly, serving as a devoted caregiver, and most recently to her dear mother who passed away in 2012.
Her other interests included gardening, sewing, and refinishing furniture of which she graciously gave to others.
In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her devoted children, William C. Trudell and his wife Laura of Norton, Edward J. Trudell of Mansfield and Julie A. Robinson and her husband Michael of Mansfield. She was the sister of Patricia Gullens of Ohio and John Skrabut of New Hampshire, and is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Justin, Meghan and Connor Trudell and Brendan, Madeline and Olivia Robinson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Saturday, January 4th at 12:00 P.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Private burial will be at a later date in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 3rd from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
