Obituary

Florida-----Eulogia “Lola” Woodbury, 79, of 7185 Mamouth Street, Englewood, Florida and 25 NH Rte 106, Gilmanton, N.H. died peacefully at her daughter’s home in Belmont, N.H., surrounded by her dedicated family, on Thursday, December 26, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Woodbury was born March 11, 1934 in Moca, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Juan and Andrea (Caban) Cortes. She was a devoted Christian, mother and grandmother and was an active communicant of St. Joseph Parish, Belmont and St. Francis of Assisi Church in Florida. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and a Eucharistic Minister.
Mrs. Woodbury enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed walks with her daughter. Her family and her spiritual life were her greatest priorities. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed dancing and taking cruises with her loving husband.
Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Charles “Woody” Woodbury, of Englewood, Florida and Gilmanton, N.H.; four sons, Steven Woodbury and his wife, Susan, and Robert Woodbury and his wife, Cindy, all of Gilmanton, Thomas Woodbury of Florida and James Woodbury and his wife, Celeste, of Belmont; a daughter, Wanda White and her husband, James, of Belmont; seventeen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Ivan Caban of Puerto Rico and Wilson Caban of New Jersey and three sisters, Ladie Leon, Judith Nunez and Ludo Rodriquez, all of Kissimmee, Florida. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Woodbury was predeceased by a brother, Angel Caban.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Parish, 96 Main St., Belmont, N.H.
A Graveside Service will follow at 2:00PM at the family lot in Riverside Cemetery, 454 Nashua St., Milford, NH.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Laconia Salvation Army, 177 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH 03246 or Central New Hampshire VNA and Hospice 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
