Mary T. Noonan, 86 of Manchester, NH died Saturday December 28, 2013 in the Elliot Hospital in Manchester surrounded by her family. Mrs. Noonan was born in Woburn, MA on September 30, 1927, a daughter of the late Angelo and Mary (DeAngelis) Duonolo. She had resided in Manchester for the past three years, formerly living in Derry, NH for many years. She retired from Sweetheart Plastics in Wilmington, MA and later worked at the Goodwill Store in Londonderry, NH. She had served on the board of the Derry Housing and Redevelopment Authority and was recognized for her dedicated service to the town of Derry in 2003. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and she was an avid Red Sox fan.
She is survived by three sons; Roger F. Noonan, Jr. and his wife Lori of New Boston, NH, Timothy Noonan and his wife Lisa of Derry, and Robert Noonan of Salem, NH; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger F. Noonan, Sr. in 1985, and by her siblings, Clement Duonolo and Anna Piccirelli.
Following cremation, calling hours were held on Thursday January 2, 2014 from 5 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Private burial will be in the spring in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor Brookline, MA 02445-7226.
