Obituary

Katherine S. “Kay” (Powers) Frink, 89, a Millis resident since 1945 died Friday, December 27, 2013 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Robert D. Frink who died in 1967.

Born in Medway on March 13, 1924, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Catherine (Rogers) Powers.

Mrs. Frink grew up in Medway and graduated from Medway High School.

She retired in 1985 as the Assistant Treasurer for the Town of Medway and had formerly worked as a legal secretary at Dewey Kadra Law Office in Framingham. She also prepared personal income taxes for area residents for many years.

Mrs. Frink was a longtime communicant of St. Thomas Church in Millis.

She was the sister of the late Mary McCormack, John Powers, Sr. and Marguerite Small.

She was loved and survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Street in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) on Saturday, January 4 at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Thomas Church, 111 Exchange St. in Millis at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Millis.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 - 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
