Obituary

GLOUCESTER: Loren R. “Larry” Watts, II, 53, died Thursday, December 26, 2013 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House following an extended illness. He was the beloved husband of Alison Gomm.
Born in Burlington, Vermont on October 18, 1960, he was the son of Loren R. and Margaret (Shepard) Watts of Naples, Florida. He was a graduate of the Weston High School class of 1979, Bridgton Academy, North Bridgton, Maine class of 1980 and the University of Massachusetts class of 1985.
Larry was the founder of ProMirror, Inc., a sports video training system developer. He had also been employed in sales by Meiko Ltd. for several years. He was an avid windsurfer, snowboarder and golfer. He was also a dedicated member of the Annisquam Village Church, where he and his three sons helped with community outreach.
In addition to his wife, Ali, of nineteen years and his parents, he is survived by his three sons, Kyle, Benjamin and Samuel Watts; his sister and brother-in-law, Kimberlee Watts Nicksa and Gary W. Nicksa of Wellesley, his mother-in-law, Christine Gomm of Bristol, England; brothers-in-law, Ian, husband of Jane Gomm, Martin, husband of Siobhan Gomm and Paul, husband of Kelly Gomm all of England, eleven nieces and nephews, Sarah Nicksa Baker, and her husband David of Sterling, VA, Jeffrey Nicksa of Wellesley, Jess, Emily, Jake, Joe, Heather, Lucy, Harry, Oliver and Alex Gomm all of England and many beloved cousins. He was also predeceased by his father-in-law, Laughton Gomm.
Larry’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th at the Annisquam Village Church, 820 Washington Street, Gloucester at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Annisquam Village Church, 820 Washington St., Gloucester, MA 01930.
