Obituary

In Taunton, December 26, 2013 Richard J. Dennen, Age 82 passed away following a brief illness in Wedgemere Nursing Home while surrounded by his loving family. Richard leaves his loving wife Annette (Nolette) Dennen of Taunton. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Joseph & Lila (Haskell) Dennen. He was educated in Taunton schools and a graduate of Coyle High School. Richard served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed as a finish roller for the Leach & Garner Co. in Attleboro for 39 years. Richard was an avid golfer, he loved the Green Bay Packers and Notre Dame football and enjoyed the Red Sox and watching sports. Above all Richard cherished his time with family. Richard leaves his children Michael Dennen and his wife Debra of Sagamore, Stephen Dennen and his wife Paula of Taunton, Richard Dennen and his wife Carol of Taunton,Kathleen Dennen of Taunton and Pamela Andre and her husband Louis of Taunton. He is also survived by his eight loving grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Richard is survived by his brother David Dennen of Taunton and his late brother Robert Dennen. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780 on Monday, Dec. 30th at 10 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 11 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday from 1-4 pm. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton. Donations in Richard’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, MA Division, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
