Republican party, a member of the Gideon Society, various non-profit organizations, an avid U of K fan, involved in Dare
To Care, a former member of Trinity World Outreach and was a faithful Christian man.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Anna “Ruthie” Tilford, two sons James O. Tilford Jr.(Sallye) and Michael E. Tilford(Georgia).
One daughter Robin Lynn Gillespie(Tim). Two brothers Louis and Daniel Tilford; Seven Grandchildren and Fourteen Great Grandchildren,
His Funeral Service will be 11 am Saturday December 28, 2013 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown
9318 Taylorsville Rd. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 pm Friday and 9-11 am Saturday at the Funeral Home.
