Joseph T. Wilhelm, 19, of Derry, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013, at his residence in Derry. He was born September 26, 1994, in Worcester, MA and was a son of Daniel R. Wilhelm, Jr. and Pamela Wilhelm. He attended Pinkerton High School and was a longtime resident of Derry.
Joseph was employed by Castleton of Windham and was a “Star” employee who served in many capacities. He was a lifelong skateboard enthusiast, and he loved watching and playing hockey and snowboarding. He loved movies and movie stars and enjoyed playing the guitar and the ukulele. He will forever be remembered as being great at all he did.
Joseph is survived by his father and stepmother, Daniel R., Jr. and Katie Wilhelm of Derry; his mother, Pamela Wilhelm, of Webster MA; his sister and her husband, Jessica and Gary Santucci of Cranston, RI; his brother, Daniel R. Wilhelm, III, of Webster, MA; his sister, Anna Wilhelm, of Worcester, MA; his sister, Julia Stinchfield, of Webster, MA; and his brother, Toby Houghtaling, of Derry. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Mary Alice Redelsperger and Daniel R. Wilhelm, Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Richard and Dorothy Columbare; four nephews Benjamin Dupras, Andino and Daniel Santucci, and Travis Wilhelm, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Mary Smith, in 2010.
Calling hours were held on Sunday, December 29, 2013, from 2 to 6 pm, at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. A Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, December 30, 2013, at 10 am, at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish of Derry. Cremation will follow.
