Pauline Mary (Wilson) Gaudreau, 83, of New Bedford, died peacefully December 22, 2013 at Sacred Heart Home surrounded by her loving family, to whom she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was the wife of Roger W. Gaudreau to whom she was married for 56 years.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Cournoyer) Wilson, she lived in Acushnet and New Bedford for most of her life. Pauline was a graduate of St. Anthony High School. She worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for many years, where she met her husband Roger.
Pauline was happiest spending time with her family and friends. She spent many wonderful years raising her family at their home in Pope Park, Acushnet. She enjoyed wintering in Florida and traveling with her husband. Pauline loved to shop with her daughters and granddaughters and enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s many events.
In addition to her husband, she will be missed by her six children; Carol McIntyre and her husband Mark of Nashua, New Hampshire; Joseph Gaudreau and his wife Patricia Galvin of Warren, Rhode Island; David Gaudreau and his wife Roberta of Brewster, New York; Susan Gaudreau and her fiancée Alison St. Laurent of New Bedford, Massachusetts; Louise Weigel and her husband Albert of Rochester, Massachusetts; and Paul Gaudreau and his wife Patricia of Dartmouth, Massachusetts; and ten grandchildren James and his fiancée Elizabeth, Jonathan and his wife Christine, Erin, Patrick, Bryce, Chace, Nicholas, Katelyn, Jordan and Maxwell.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 27th at 11 AM at Sacred Heart Home Chapel, 359 Summer St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
