Sylvia Marie Lane, age 63, of Douglas, GA passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta following a brief illness. Mrs. Lane was born July 20, 1950 to Mildred Marie Butler Amerson and the late Harris Neron Amerson.
Mrs, Lane is survived by her husband: Arthur Marvin "Pete" Lane of 42 years, of Douglas, GA. One son: Brian Marvin Lane and wife, Christie, of Douglas, Ga. One Daughter: Deidra Glaize and husband, Chris, of Augusta, GA. Her Mother: Mildred Marie Butler Amerson of Douglas, Ga. Three Brothers: H. N. Amerson and wife Debbie of Douglas, GA; Randy Amerson and wife, Beverly, of Clermont, Fl.; and Ronald Amerson and wife, Pattie, of Douglas, Ga. Four Grandchildren: Cliodhna Lane, Drake Lane, Ashley Glaize and Katie Glaize; Special Friend: Barbara Consenmoyer and Special Neighbor: Billie.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 23, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home. Sims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
