Obituary

Lawrence— Robert A. Lamontagne Sr. was re-united with his beautiful wife, Marilda, peacefully,on December 20, 2013. Robert was born in Lawrence, Ma, to his parents, the late rose and David Lamontagne; grew up there and graduated through the Lawrence school system. He was a disabled veteran who honorably served his country in the air Force as a Transportation Specialist. After his tour of duty, he worked for Malden Mills in Lawrence until his retirement. He and Marilda then retired to Seabrook. Robert was of true quiet strength and resilience. He was the patriarch of love and devotion to his family. His love, paired with Marilda, led their family to lives of success and taught that perseverance leads to dreams coming true. No memory is stronger than Robert’s laughter and smiles when he was surrounded by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Now that he has reunited with his one true love, Marilda, they can now, together, watch over their loved ones, as their legacy, that they have gifted to the world, will forever live on. Robert was pre-deceased by siblings David (Pete), Alice, Doris, Rita, Irene, Jeannette and rose (Tirose).
