Walters, Mittie C. (Pottinger), 88, passed away December 21, 2013 in Louisville.
Mittie was a homemaker and member of Friendship Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Beverly J. Jeffries.
Mittie is survived by her husband of 69 years, James Walters; children, Judy K. White (Jerry), Carolyn W. Miller (Hobart), and Gary L. Walters; siblings, James Pottinger and Helen Blair; and four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mittie will be held Friday, December 27 at 11 a.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial to follow at Louisville
Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
