Roger D. Krajcik, 60, of North Port, FL formerly of Derry, NH passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte, FL, following a sudden illness. He was born March 28, 1953 in Torrance, CA and was the son of the late Joseph and Elmira Krajcik. He was raised in Gardena, CA, resided for 20 years in Derry, NH, prior to locating to North Port, FL four years ago. Roger Krajcik was a saw operator for various manufacturing companies, until he became disabled in 2002. He was a proud father of four children. He was a devoted Raider fan and raised his four children with the same devotion. He loved fishing, traveling and sports. He will forever be remembered by his devoted family.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Laura J. Krajcik of North Port, FL; two sons, Roger “Shane” Krajcik of Port Charlotte, FL and Joseph R. Krajcik of Derry, NH; two daughters, Shawna C. Krajcik of Las Vegas, NV and Nancy J. Krajcik of North Port, FL; one brother Ronald G. Krajcik and his wife Nancy E Krajcik of Colville, WA; four grandchildren, Tyler R. Krajcik, Bradley Harris, Mikey Harris and Devin Federly; one niece April Merida.
Memorial calling hours were held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 9am – 11am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St. Derry, NH. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Roger Krajcik’s name to any charity of your choice to help the homeless, animal shelters, veterans, elderly and food pantries.
